KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI


                                                                        
Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and Anjali (Kajol) are best of buddies in college. However, they are not attracted to each other, as Anjali dresses and behaves like a boy. Rahul wants to marry someone who can be his friend and also be stunning. Enters Tina (Rani Mukherji), the daughter of the principal Malhotra (Anupam Kher). Rahul and Tina falls in love with each other. At the same time Anjali also realises his love for Rahul, but by then it is too late. Rahul has already proposed Tina and she has accepted. Heart-broken, Anjali leaves the city and their lives. Rahul's happiness is short-lived                            
 Rahul Khanna and Anjali Sharma were best friends at college. Anjali realizes that she has fallen for Rahul but she's too late because Rahul has already fallen for Tina Malhotra. Heartbroken, Anjali leaves the city. Tina and Rahul get married and soon Tina becomes pregnant, giving birth to a daughter which they call Anjali. Due to complications during pregnancy, Tina passes away. Anjali is brought up by her father, and each year on her birthday he allows his daughter to read one of her mother's letters.
